Been a bit quiet on the blogging front recently as we just spent a week up in Cooks Beach in the Coromandel. The weather wasn’t too good due to the effects of a tropical cyclone that drifted towards us from Fiji. But overall it was a good break and I managed to catch the monster […]

Blogtown NZ has been updated to the latest version to fix several security bugs and to add new features. One of the new features is native tagging support although this needs to be built into the themes to see the tags.

Haven’t been blogging much recently, as you can tell by the lack of posts. I’d like to say that I’ve been too busy (I have) but the amount of time I’ve been spending on Facebook says otherwise. Anyway, I’m heading along to the Gadgets, Games and Geeks event hosted by Unlimited Potential (UP) tomorrow evening […]

As Wanda Martha just mentioned, last night we had the first meetup of the Wellington Bloggers Facebook group (or the catchy ‘WBFG‘ for short) at the Southern Cross bar. Yesterday in London, EMI Group CEO Eric Nicoli and Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that EMI will be allowing DRM-free downloads of their entire music catalogue through Apple’s iTunes Music Store. Not only that, but the DRM-free tracks will […]

I started watching Robert Scoble’s new show today, aptly name the ScobleShow. I like it. I watched the first episode with Jonathan Schwartz, who is the approachable CEO of Sun Microsystems. Jonathan is passionate about Sun and its technology and it comes across in the interview. Heck, I want to build something big just so I can use […]

Interesting reading for any current or wannabe bloggers, the blogosphere is not quite what you expected! A blog-peasant, one of the Great Unread, comes to the wall of the castle to offer a tribute to a royal, and the royal drops a couple of coins of attention into the peasant’s little purse. The peasant is […]
