Wagamamas in Wellington
In a previous post I mentioned that Wagamamas will opening soon in Wellington, just next door to Loaded Hog,. That post has been getting a lot of hits through the Google – seems like I’m not the only one excited about the opening. Turns out the Wellingtonista crew nominated Wagamamas in their 2AWA (2nd Annual Wellingtonista Awards) in the "Most Needed" category.
Reading through the comments though, it’s obvious that not everyone "gets" Wagamama. A lot of people complain about the odd seating arrangement, or the bland decor. I love it though – it’s a bit different, and I don’t see the decor as bland – more minimalist. If you’ve ever been to a Muji store in London, then you’ll notice the similarities between the minimalist design there and in Wagamamas.
