I’m not condoning movie piracy, but I would blame the slow international roll-out of this movie as the primary reason for the piracy. Even when this movie won the Oscar award for best picture, it was still not available in theatre in NZ. Then again, there’s always going to be a group of people who will download movies even if they’re being shown for free in the movie cinema next door to their house.

The war against movie piracy is getting downright explosive. We’ve learned that the producers of the Oscar-winning “The Hurt Locker” are preparing a massive lawsuit against thousands of individuals who pirated the film online. The case could be filed as soon as tomorrow.

Look at his face in the photo – sheer joy. What he doesn’t know is that the Apple Gestapo are about to pay him a visit and kick some ass.

Don’t sell me physical objects, help me re-purpose the ones I have or otherwise give me digital tools for a higher quality of life that don’t require Chinese injection moldings.
